Lines Design Studio is a Manila-based Design group that specializes in Interior Design, Construction and Project Management. Our designs cater to unique, unconventional, and upbeat concepts that bring our client's taste and personality to life - While our construction and project management capabilities exceed expectations. Our team consists of young, passionate and talented designers led by Ms. Ann Margarett Doca. She's a graduate of the UST College of Fine Arts and Design major in Interior Design where she finished ahead of her class.

A team of precisely proficient designers who are dedicated in seeking elucidations provides the best-fit solutions for the clients’ desired tastes whether improbable. Lines Design Studio has a salient belief in efficient space planning based on substantial experience. Not only that, their goal is to produce quality interiors that are made to be enjoyed by both present and future generations.

Ann Margarett Doca

The Designer

Known to everyone around her as Maj, Her passion for design paves the way to become nimble, allowing her to put thoughtful designs first. Her clients are more than just clients, they are partners. She collaborates with like-minded people on projects she is inspired by. This lean structure helps her maintain focus and priorities that make better designs. The dedication for her craft lets her experience more various forms and expressions of the arts. Since it is fluid and ever transforming, the best fuel is her hunger and quest for learning. Appreciation for structures, architecture, especially interiors is also her best tool. Her passion in every project brings people together in a collective sense and impacting their lives for the better.

She started her career in the marketing field in their family business. Later on, her love for beautiful spaces nurtures, turning spaces into a piece of art becomes a daily routine, and every detail is seen prudently. As a maximalist, the mix and match of styles and turning it into a design continuity is her strong point. As a multifaceted designer and consultant, her work ranges in all forms. From the hospital, hotel, and events place her design consultancy radiates through these spaces. Residential and commercial spaces are also part of her current works and she always perceives design without borders and meaningful connection with space. Her journey as an artist, photographer, stylist, and designer has created important ticks for her, her subjects, and thereby eternalized. She always believed in the power of beautiful interiors to touch and transform daily lives.

WHAT ARE ELEMENTS OF INTERIOR DESIGN IN ART & DETAIL?

L I N E – horizontal, vertical, curve, diagonal; each has an impact on how you perceive space. When discussing LINE as it applies to interior design, we mean the lines created by the furnishings and architecture of a room. Line sets form and shape. Line is responsible for harmony, contrast and unity in interior design. Every interior uses lines in combination, yet often one line will be planned to dominate in order to accomplish a desired effect. Vertical and horizontal lines form the structural or architectural foundation for a building. Angular and curved lines are used for interest, movement, relief and to humanize an interior space. Structural elements, applied finishes, even lighting can all be applied to create strong lines within a space. Lines can also create illusion in spaces.
